STACKED Grill at Palace Casino Resort, known for amazing burgers and shakes, has introduced six new gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches to their menu. All the sandwiches are served on thick sourdough bread with cole slaw and choice of potato twisters, thick cut steak fries or sweet potato fries.
The six sandwiches, Jalapeno Popper, Crab & Cheese, Steak & Cheese, BBQ Pork & Cheese, Clam & Cheese and Buffalo Chicken & Cheese, are all priced $11 or less.
Jalapeno Popper consists of breaded and fried slices of jalapeno peppers with combination of cheddar and cream cheese. Griddled crab cake and slices of green tomato with melted Boursin and Brie cheeses create the Crab & Cheese Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Philly steak meat paired with smoky chipotle cheddar cheese, topped with grilled green peppers and onions are combined to make the Steak & Cheese Sandwich. The BBQ Pork & Cheese Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwich features house-smoked pork shoulder, BBQ sauce, cheddar and cream cheeses. Chicken lovers will enjoy the lightly breaded, fried chicken breast topped with wing sauce, blue and cream cheeses known as the Buffalo Chicken & Cheese Sandwich. The Clam & Cheese Sandwich consists of jumbo breaded clam strips, dill pickles and American cheese.
The menu at STACKED Grill continues to offer a large variety of dining choices such as quesadillas, nachos, fried green tomatoes and seafood gumbo for appetizers; cool and crunchy salads; a large selection of burgers, sandwiches and po’boys; rib-eye, filet mignon, New York Strip and 14 oz. T-bone steaks; chef specials of shrimp & grits, seafood platter or buffalo chicken wings; shakes and desserts, and an extensive breakfast menu available during all open hours.
STACKED Grill is located on the second floor of the Palace Casino Resort and is open until 2 AM Sunday – Thursday and 24 hours on Friday & Saturday.

RESORT ROOM RENOVATIONS
Palace Casino Resort has begun a multi-million dollar renovation of all hotel rooms and suites. The Rooms will be redecorated from floor to ceiling, including new bedding, flat screen TVs and completely redesigned bathrooms.
Renovation work is expected to take several months. Rooms will be available throughout the renovation. However, there may be some noise and disruption during construction.

The Stacked Burger at STACKED Grill at Palace Casino Resort has been voted among the Top 10 of Mississippi’s Best Burgers, in a recent contest conducted by the Mississippi Beef Council.
Mississippi’s 17,000 beef producers held an online poll to find the state’s best burger. Over 1100 burger connoisseurs cast their votes and STACKED Grill was the only Mississippi Gulf Coast restaurant to make it into the Top 10 list.
STACKED Grill, located at the Palace Casino Resort proudly serves grain fed Black Angus beef, as well as, a variety of specialty burgers, stacked to the max and served on fresh homemade buns. STACKED is also known for its tasty appetizers and amazing shakes such as Creamsicle, Just Two Nutty, Donut, Twinkle, Chocolate, Strawberry or Vanilla, topped with whipped cream, nuts and cherry. STACKED Grill is open until 2AM Sunday – Thursday and 24 hours Friday and Saturday.
As one of the 10 restaurants receiving the most votes, STACKED Grill will be visited by a panel of expert judges to determine the overall champion and winner of Mississippi’s Best Burger. Burgers will be judged on appearance, taste and proper cooking temperature.
The Grand Prize winner for the title of “Mississippi’s Best Burger” will receive a plaque designating the restaurant as the winner of “Mississippi’s Best Burger Contest 2012”. The winning restaurant will also receive: A $1,000 advertising package featuring local print and radio promotions; a feature article in the Mississippi Cattlemen’s Association magazine and publicity on MBC’s website as the “Best Burger in Mississippi” contest winner.

Palace Casino Resort and The Preserve Golf Club are the proud recipients of numerous recently announced ‘Best of’ awards for 2012. Palace Casino Resort won nine Best of Slots awards from Strictly Slots magazine and a Best of Gaming ribbon from Gaming South magazine. The Preserve Golf Club has just been named one of the 2012 Golfweek’s Best Casino Courses in the country.
“We’re honored to be recognized by national and regional magazines,” said General Manager, Keith Crosby. “2011 was a year of expansion, renovation and the introduction of the Palace as the Coast’s Only Smoke Free Casino. It is especially rewarding to receive so many gaming awards so soon after a year of transition,” Crosby continued.
“These awards were determined by casino players from all over the country without us soliciting their votes. It is a testament to our associates’ hard work to provide outstanding guest service along with a clean, safe and fun casino resort everyday for our guests to enjoy,” said Crosby.
Palace Casino Resort was the winner of the Best Community Slots category in Gaming South’s annual poll. Strictly Slots readers awarded Palace Casino Resort a total of nine “Best of” awards; first place for Best Casino for Reel Slots and Casino with Best Penny Slots; second place for Casino with Best Dollar Slots, Casino with Best Variety of Slots and Best Slot Club; third place for Casino Where You Feel Luckiest, Casino with Best $5+ Slots, Best High-End Slot Area and Best Players Club Lounge.
The Preserve Golf Club, an amenity of the Palace Casino Resort, was selected as one of the 2012 Golfweek’s Best Casino Courses by a nationwide team of esteemed course raters. The golf course will be included in Golfweek’s December 7th issue listing the country’s top casino courses.
